Summary

THE WLHP SYSTEM IS A TWO-PIPE AND INCORPORATES REPRESENTATIVE CURRENT HEAT PUMPS, A 300 KILOWATT ELECTRIC BOILER, AND A CLOSED-LOOP COOLING TOWER. THE PROJECT'S GOALS ARE TO OBTAIN DEMAND AND ENERGY USE DATA ON THE WLHP SYSTEM AND ITS COMPONENTS IN ALL SEASONS, CHARACTERIZE INTERACTION OF THE COMPONENTS WITH EACH OTHER AND WITH THE BUILDING AND CONTROLS, AND USE THE DATA AND THEIR ANALYSIS TO DEVELOP AND VERIFY IMPROVED WLHP COMPUTER SIMULATIONS.
