Detailed measurements of room air distribution for evaluating numerical simulation models.

Summary

The paper outlines the method used for measuring air flow patterns, velocities and temperatures at numerous locations in an air conditioned room, in order to obtain an overall picture, as instantaneous as possible, of the air flow within the room. The turbulence around heat sources and air diffusers are studied in detail. The investigations are useful for evaluating simulation models.
