Summary
According to the article, adopting an underfeed stoker combined with proper design of the whole system satisfactorily solves the problems of severe pollution and instability in coal-fired operations. The design of a direct coal-fired lithium bromide absortion chiller is presented. It is capable of providing chilled and hot water with 580 kilowatt refrigerating capacity and shows a good running performance.
