What lies in store for gas air conditioning?
Quel avenir pour la clim au gaz ?
Author(s) : GAUTHIER F.
Type of article: Article
Summary
In France within the next 2-3 years, gas air conditioning may achieve a market share of 10% in new air-conditioned buildings. While absorption systems using water/lithium bromide are confined to medium- and high-capacity plant, those with a water-ammonia cycle are now direct challengers in the low-capacity electrical plant market. However, as long as electricity remains cheaper than gas in summer, the market for gas systems will continue to encounter difficulties.
