Development of a mathematical model and computer simulation to predict the annual energy consumption of coil-type liquid desiccant systems.
Author(s) : KHAN A. Y., BALL H. D.
Summary
In order to select an optimum system, the performance of the system for design and part-load operations has to be known. A mathematical model was developed to predict the year-round performance of commercially available coil-type liquid sorbent systems. The designer needs year-round performance information in order to select an optimum cooling and dehumidification system.
