Summary
In order to save energy of the water heating system which presently uses 35% of residential energy consumption, a high efficiency "instantaneous" heat pump water heating system using R410A was developed. Its annual COP is estimated to be 4.2 under the condition of L-mode of IBEC at Tokyo and Osaka by simulation based on the experimental results under the JRA standard.
