Development of room air conditioners with R410A.

Summary
The authors introduced new air conditioners using R410A in early 1998. These models achieve highest energy efficiency in the 4-5 kW capacity range. In order to achieve a high performance, they have developed new rotary compressors, new grooved tubes for heat exchanger optimized to R410A. Also, the active EMI filter developed for these air conditioners decreases leakage from the compressor.
