Summary
SRK (SOAVE-REDLICH-KWONG), PR (PENG-ROBINSON) AND PT (PATEL-TEJA) EQUATIONS OF STATE WERE COMPARED WITH EXPERIMENTAL DATA. THESE EQUATIONS REPRESENT VAPOUR PRESSURE FOR PURE REFRIGERANTS AND DEWPOINT AND BOILING CURVES, ALTHOUGH NONE OF THESE EQUATIONS REPRESENT THE DENSITY OF THE SATURATED SOLUTION. A MODIFIED PT EQUATION WAS SUGGESTED AND THE VLE CHART IS ILLUSTRATED FOR THE R13B1-R114 SYSTEM.
