Summary

The paper studies the use of active cooling systems by using local raw materials (cotton, clay and palm fibre). The models developed by the"Institut Burkinabé de l'Energie" using those local raw materials enable the reduction of the temperature of the air of 8 to 14 deg C. Moreover, it enables the reduction of national energy consumption through energy saving.
