Summary

IN ADDITION TO DUTCH NATURAL GAS OF THE L TYPE, STUTTGART FACTORIES RECEIVE H NATURAL GAS FROM NORWAY AND THE USSR. THE CHANGE IN THE COMPOSITION AND THE INCREASE IN THE LIQUEFACTION VOLUME FROM 170 TO 272 KMOL/H REQUIRED REVAMPING THE EXISTING PLANT. THE AUTHORS DESCRIBE NATURAL GAS PURIFICATION, LIQUEFACTION, STORAGE AND VAPORIZATION PROCESSES. THE ECONOMIC STUDY SHOWS AN ANNUAL SAVING OF DM 5 TO 7 MILLIONS. THIS RESULT IS BASED ON THE ASSUMPTION THAT VAPORIZATION VOLUME AND GAS PRICE ARE THOSE IN STUTTGART.
