Effect of climatic conditions on the operation of refrigerating equipment in a hypermarket.

Influence des conditions climatiques sur le fonctionnement des équipements frigorifiques d'un hypermarché.

Author(s) : GAUTHERIN W., SROUR S.

Summary

The authors studied the effect of internal and external climatic conditions on the operation of display cases and the refrigerating plant in a 10,000-m2 hypermarket. For three weeks in a row the climatic conditions, the opening times of all the electromagnetic valves, and the operating conditions of the refrigerating plant were measured. The authors also established the connection between the number of compressors and the refrigerating capacity required by the display cases fed by the same central plant.
