Summary
Freshly harvested mature dates (cultivars Samani and Zaghloul) were stored at 80-85% RH for 2 months. The best results were obtained with storage temperatures of 5 or 7 deg C. At 15 or 20 deg C, the incidence of decay was high, while at 0 deg C, chilling injury occurred.
