Type of article: Article

Summary

Prefreezing equilibration for 1 or 5 hours at 5 deg C decreased the in vitro fertilization rate of frozen-thawed spermatozoa. High or moderate in vitro fertilization rates spermatozoa, depending on the strain were obtained when they were immediately frozen, thawed and subsequently subjected to the centrifugation prior to in vitro fertilization.
