Type of article: Article
Summary
The effect of uniform compression on magnetic susceptibility of cerium-boron has been investigated at 20.4, 78 and 296 K. The results are analyzed in the context of the theory including the joint influence of the Kondo effect and the crystalline field on susceptibility. The dependences of the microscopic characteristic of the system on the atomic volume have been obtained.
