Summary

The effect of different temperatures at storage and transportation (0.3, 7, 11, 22 and 28 deg C) was tested on asparagus cv. UC-157 artificially inoculated with E. carotovora subsp. atroseptica. Diseased tissue was assessed daily for 23 days after inoculation. The disease occurred at all the temperatures tested, but increased with temperature.
