INSULATION CAN AFFECT THE IGNITION OF MATERIALS AND INFLUENCE THE RATE AT WHICH FIRE GROWS. SOME MATERIALS ARE POTENTIAL HAZARDS AS THEY IGNITE EASILY AND PROPAGATE FLAME.
