Summary

IN ORDER TO REDUCE MASS LOSSES AND THE DETERIORATION OF STORED FRUIT, THESE ARE TREATED WITH PROTEXAN AND IHP-300 AND AN AQUEOUS EMULSION AT 1/100, WITH OR WITHOUT ADDITION OF 0.2% FUNDAZOL (A FUNGICIDAL PREPARATION CONTAINING BENOMYL) OR ONLY WITH FUNDAZOL. AFTER 150 DAYS AT 273 K (0 DEG C) THE TREATMENT WITH PROTEXAN AND IHP-300, WITH ADDITION OF FUNDAZOL, GIVES THE BEST RESULTS AND REDUCES MASS LOSSES AND DETERIORATION BY 18 OR 71%. THE TREATMENT WITH PROTEXAN ONLY REDUCES MASS LOSSES BY 3% AND THE TREATMENT WITH IHP-300 BY 2.4%, AND RESPECTIVELY BY 30 AND 24% COMPARED TO THE CONTROL.
