Summary
The apple cultivar Elise produces heavy crops of large, red-coloured fruits of excellent flavour, which have similarities with those of Jonagold and Elstar. They are, however, susceptible to Jonathan spot and cork spot. They can be cold-stored at 3 deg C until about February, or held in controlled atmosphere storage (ULO) at 0.5 deg C until about April.
