Energetic efficiency of cogeneration systems for combined heat, cold and power production.
Author(s) : HAVELSKÝ V.
Type of article: Article, IJR article
Summary
Various cogeneration systems for combined heat, cold and power production are designed by means of computer simulation to minimize consumption of the primary energy. Equations of energetic efficiency of this combined cogeneration systems are presented, that relate the primary energy rate and comparative primary energy saving to energy parameters of designed systems. Comparison of energetic efficiency of combined cogeneration systems with contemporary conventional separate production of heat, cold and power shows a large potential for energy saving by designed combined cogeneration systems.
