Summary

An experimental study relating to the energy consumption of the main units has been conducted in a hypermarket. It has highlighted the refrigerating plant, the lighting for the sales area and air conditioning as being the main items of energy consumption. This study has also identified parameters affecting electrical power absorbed by the refrigerating plant: the temperatures both inside and outside the shop.
