IN TECHNOLOGIES REQUIRING HEATING AT ABOUT 373 K (100 DEG C), EG MEAT INDUSTRY, ETC, SAVINGS CAN BE MADE BY USING THE HEAT PUMP AS A HEAT SOURCE. THE USE OF THE CONDENSATION HEAT FLOW OF THE REFRIGERATING SYSTEM AS A SO CALLED HYBRID HEAT PUMP IS DESCRIBED. THE SAVING ACHIEVED IN THIS WAY IS ANALYZED AND QUANTIFIED ON A CONCRETE EXAMPLE.
