Summary

FOR HEAT RECOVERY, A HEAT PUMP IS OFTEN USED. INSTEAD OF EXTERNAL AIR, THE AIR CIRCULATING THROUGH THE RECOVERY UNIT IS PREFERRED AS THE HEAT SOURCE, AS IT IS ALWAYS WARMER THAN EXTERNAL AIR. IN THE SIMPLEST CASES, AN EXCHANGER CAN BE MOUNTED AT THE BACK OF THE EXCHANGER OF THE RECOVERY UNIT, FOR THE EXTRACTION OF HEAT BY THE HEAT PUMP. WITH AN ENERGY RECOVERY UNIT CONNECTED TO THE CYCLE, THIS EXCHANGER CAN BE SPARED WITH EXTRACTION FROM THE BRINE CIRCUIT THROUGH THE HEAT PUMP.
