Energy savings induced by making use of electronic injection valves in refrigeration circuits.

Author(s) : BUNTINX J.

Summary

The paper deals with energy savings through the use of electronic injection valves with dry evaporators, compared to conventional thermostatic expansion valves. After noting the operating principles, the author analyses the savings achieved with models combining pressure independence and self-adaptive action; the savings come mainly from the possibility of modifying pressures down for the condensing pressure, up for the evaporating pressure.
