Summary

COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE EFFICIENCY OF PROPANE RECOVERY IN A PROCESSING PLANT OF NATURAL GAS LIQUIDS, USING A LOW-PRESSURE ABSORBER OR A TRADITIONAL ONE. THIS STUDY, CARRIED OUT ON THE ARUN FIELD (INDONESIA), SHOWS THAT WITH A LOW-PRESSURE ABSORBER, IT IS POSSIBLE TO RECOVER UP TO 90% OF PROPANE; THESE DATA CORRELATE WITH THE RESULTS OF THE SIMULATION. DETAILS ON THE STUDY AND DIAGRAMS OF THE EQUIPMENT USED ARE GIVEN, AS WELL AS TABLES AND DIAGRAMS OF RESULTS.
