Equations of state for fluorinated ether refrigerants, CF3OCH3 and (CF)3CFOCH3.
Author(s) : WIDIATMO J. V., WATANABE K.
Summary
The current studies on the thermodynamic property measurements of the above fluorinated ethers and their thermodynamic property modelling are discussed in the paper. The formulations are completed based on the PVT property data fitting, both in the single phase and at the saturation states. A systematic comparison on the theoretical refrigeration/heat pump cycle performance of the present new fluorinated ethers with the conventional refrigerants will also be discussed. The new refrigerants are proposed for replacement of R12 and R11 respectively.
