Summary
The largest quick-frozen vegetable producers are Turkey and Spain, followed by Italy. Italy is usually the biggest European Union supplier, producing 4010 tonnes of quick-frozen tomatoes in 1996 (compared with 2990 tonnes from Spain). Spanish exports of IQF peppers rose 29% in 1996, reaching a total of 30,650 tonnes.
