Available information shows that in most countries the frozen pastries market is much more dynamic than the unfrozen product market. In 6 countries investigated (Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Denmark and the Netherlands), this market appeared to represent 285,000 tonnes in 1997, with 4.5% annual growth over the past 5 years.
