Summary
This paper reports on the results of the initial phases and the research plan for the future: advantages of the CO2 cycle confirmed in an experimental loop; control methods; evaluation of heat transfer. The CO2 cycle can be effectively controlled by the combination of an automatic expansion valve and a variable-speed compressor. Furthermore, it was found that the CO2 heat transfer under supercritical conditions is high.
