Summary
In order to reduce the energy consumption of the chiller plant at high-temperature water source conditions, this paper presents the control strategy for precooling high-temperature water with a cooling tower. The results show that when the water temperature is higher than a certain value, the exergy energy efficiency would be increased and the energy consumption of the chiller plant with precooling can be decreased, the saving energy would increase with water temperature.
