Summary

Blow off and tank gases represent valuable gaseous waste products arising during the synthesis and condensation of ammonia. In large capacity ammonia production plants, it is possible to reclaim and reuse various nitrogen/hydrogen mixtures and methane. It is also possible to reclaim argon helium, krypton and xenon. The paper relates long term operation experience with these reclaiming facilities.
