Summary

IN A PREVIOUS CONTRIBUTION, THE AUTHORS SHOWED THAT THE GRAPHICAL METHOD, AS PROPOSED BY BOSNJAKOVIC F., FOR THE DETERMINATION OF THE CHANGE OF STATE OF AIR FLOWING THROUGH THE WETTED CONDUITS OF AN EVAPORATIVE COOLER, CAN BE SIMULATED BY A COMPUTER PROGRAM. FURTHERMORE, THE LOWEST CONDENSATION TEMPERATURE WHICH CAN BE ACHIEVED BY EVAPORATION COOLING CAN BE DETERMINED. THE LOWERING OF THE CONDENSATION TEMPERATURE CONSIDERABLY INCREASES THE EFFICIENCY OF THE THERMAL PROCESS AND THIS REDUCES THE ENERGY CONSUMPTION. DESCRIBES A TEST ARRANGEMENT WITH WHICH A CONDENSER CAN BE INVESTIGATED FOR VARIOUS MASS FLOWS OF WATER AND AIR.
