Experimental investigation of two-phase pressure drop in return bends using R410A.

Summary
This study presents 103 pressure drop data points measured in horizontal return bends using R410A. It is shown that the singular pressure drop increases when the mass velocity increases because of the increasing effect of the centrifugal force acting on both phases. The experimental data are compared against available correlations found in the literature.
