Experimental methods for the establishment of critical parameters of substances.

Summary
This paper presents an overview of two experimental methods for the establishment of the critical parameters of substances. The first method is based on the direct observation of a transparent pressurized measuring cell, containing the substance being monitored. The second method relies on the speed of sound behaviour of a substance around the critical state.
