Experimental studies on crossflow heat exchanger performance using non-azeotropic refrigerant mixture.

Author(s) : EBISU T., TORIKOSHI K.

Summary

The paper examines experimentally the performance of an air-cooled heat exchanger with two rows construction for non-azeotropic refrigerant mixture R407C. The heat exchanger performance for R407C with the present specification was the same as that for R22 under the conditions of the evaporation temperature defined by ARI Committee, but the heat exchanger performance for R407C is higher than that for R22 in the heating mode, so that the condensation temperature defined by ARI Committee is unsuitable to determine the performance of the present heat exchanger.
