Summary

The article is dedicated to an experimental study of new working substances for heat pump plants providing high energy efficiency of the cycle and at the same time meeting uptodate ecology requirements. The results of the tests of the experimental test bench of the heat pump plant at operation on a new working substance that is a mix composition of octafluorocyclobutane ?4F8 with sulfur hexafluoride SF6 (RC318/R846), as well as at operation on the conventional working substance chlorodifluoromethane (R22) are presented. A comparative analysis of energy efficiency of the plant operating on these substances as well as of its elements was carried out. Technical and technological particularities of using and successful preconditions of implementation of this new working substance into heat pump systems were analyzed.
