Experimental study of low GWP refrigerants for room air conditioners.

Number: pap. NS26

Author(s) : HARA H., OONO M., IWATA I.

Summary

The operating performance of HFO-1234yf as a refrigerant with low Global Warming Potential (GWP) was evaluated, analyzed to find out challenges and specifications required to obtain the same performance to R410A were studied. To study the reliability of HFO-1234yf, the evaluation with current lubricating oil (PVE) in autoclave and the electrical resistivity was done and compared to R410A/PVE combination.
