Summary

THE EXPERIMENTAL DEPENDENCES OF THE ELECTRON DENSITY OF STATES, LATTICE PARAMETERS, SUPERCONDUCTING TRANSITION TEMPERATURE AND OTHER PARAMETERS OF THESAMPLE ON THE FERMI LEVEL WERE OBTAINED. A CORRELATION WAS FOUND BETWEEN THE PEAKS OF THE ELECTRON DENSITY OF STATES, THE ANOMALOUSLY HIGH VALUES OF THE DEFORMATION POTENTIAL AND THE STRUCTURAL PHASE TRANSITIONS. THE PHASE TRANSITIONS ARE LOCATED CLOSE TO THE HIGH-TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTING PHASE, AT A DISTANCE OF ABOUT SEVERAL TENS OF MILLIVOLTS. NEAR THE STRUCTURAL PHASE TRANSITION THERE IS A NARROW REGION OF EXTREMAL VALUES OF THE ELECTRON AND LATTICE CHARACTERISTICS. HIGH TEMPERATURE SUPERCONDUCTIVITY IN YBACUO(7-) APPEARS IN THE REGION.
