FIELD STUDY ON INDOOR AIR QUALITY OF BODY ODOUR IN CLASSROOMS.

Author(s) : IWASHITA G.

Summary

THE INFLUENCE OF BODY ODOUR ON INDOOR AIR QUALITY WAS INVESTIGATED IN THE NATURALLY VENTILATED CLASSROOMS IN SUMMER. IT WAS FOUND THAT CO2 WAS A GOOD PREDICTOR OF INDOOR AIR QUALITY. MULTIPLE REGRESSION ANALYSIS INDICATED THAT THE ODOUR INTENSITY WAS ALSO INFLUENCED BY THE INDOOR AIR TEMPERATURE AND RELATIVE HUMIDITY. THE PERCENTAGE OF DISSATISFIED PANELS OF VISITORS COULD BE EXPRESSED AS A FUNCTION OF YAGLOU'S ODOUR INTENSITY.
