Summary

Ejection refrigeration systems are driven by low temperature heat sources. They may be effectively applied in solar air-conditioning. The general difficulties in design of the ejection system is a lack of the reliable models of the ejectors that could be applied for variety of possible working fluids. The most useful tool for prediction of operation of the ejector is CFD
which requires choice of the turbulence model. The paper presents the flow visualisation investigations along with CFD modelling results based on which recommendation of the turbulence model is formulated.
