THE AUTHORS DESCRIBE A METHOD FOR FORECASTING TEMPERATURES FOR PERISHABLE PRODUCTS USING A MODELIZING METHOD FOR THEIR RESPONSE TO A RISE IN THE AIR TEMPERATURE. THE COEFFICIENTS FOR THE TRANSFER FUNCTION WERE PREVIOUSLY DETERMINED FROM A LABORATORY EXPERIMENT ON ORANGES (VALENCIA LATE). THE AUTHORS HAVE COMPARED THE RESULTS OF ANOTHER EXPERIMENT WITH THOSE FOR THE MODELIZING METHOD. J.G.
