Friction and wear characteristics of lubricants for alternative refrigerant HFC-134a.
Author(s) : YAMAMOTO Y., GONDO S.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The friction and wear characteristics in an alternative refrigerant HFC-134a were investigated using a ball-on-plate type apparatus as well as the use of additives. The lubricants used were polyalkylene glycol and polyol ester which have high mutual solubility with HFC-134a.
