IN 1981 THE FROZEN STORAGE CAPACITY OF THE MOST IMPORTANT STORES OF THE YEMEN ARAB REPUBLIC REACHED 40,000 T ; A NEW STORE IS TO BE BUILT, WITH A CAPACITY OF 15,000 T. THERE WERE 100 MECHANICALLY REFRIGERATED TRUCKS AT THE BEGINNING OF 1981, OF WHICH 50 WITH A CAPACITY OF MORE THAN 20 T. THE APPLICATION CONDITIONS OF THE COLD CHAIN ARE REPORTED. DESCRIPTION OF FOUR DISTRIBUTION STORES IN SANAA, WITH CHEST FREEZERS FOR FOODS. THE IMPORTED FROZEN FOODS CONSUMED TO THE LARGEST EXTENT MAINLY INCLUDE FRENCH CHICKEN. G.G.
