Summary
In spite of the recent slowdown and the new challenges facing the industry, it is predicted that in the United States, as well as worldwide, the heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration industry will sustain a healthy expansion during the next decade. The impact of these challenges, environmental or economic, has been increasing and so have the difficulties to overcome them. The developments analyzed here have been designed to bring about some solutions to the problems the industry is facing and to take advantage of marketing opportunities they create.
