Summary
The growth in various sectors of the frozen food industry in Europe are discussed in general, the greatest growth being in bakery and potato products. Detailed breakdowns of frozen foods are given for a number of European countries together with details of food production and cold storage capacity compared to population. European Community Import and Export figures are given for all frozen foods for the years 1990 and 91. A similar but more detailed study of the frozen food industry in the USA is also given.
