Summary
The cryoprotection of human sperm with glycerol results in cell damage after thawing and glycerol separation. In order to avoid this damage, it is necessary to know the mechanism of glycerol penetration through the cell membrane. This is the purpose of the experiments described in the article, where the methods used for measuring the coefficient of glycerol permeability and its activation energy are described.
