Summary

The ground source heat pump system is a system that stable ground heat, one of renewable energies is used as heat source for heat pump. The coefficient of performance of the ground source heat pump system is expected to be better than that of conventional air source heat pump system because of temperature difference energy. In this document, various kinds of ground source heat pump systems are introduced and the present situation of ground source heat pump system in Japan are described. Finally, the future subjects are discussed to overcome various barriers.
