Heat exchange analysis of coabsorbent cycle absorption processes.

Author(s) : STAICOVICI M. D.

Summary

This work checks how the mixture-brine, mixture-cooling water and mixture-mixture heat exchange, hosted by desorption, generation, resorption and absorption processes, fulfil the basic physics and quality conditions. The NH3-H2O and H2O-LiBr cycles at hand, are of nontruncated cooling, hybrid and truncated heat pump and multi-effect type, for air conditioning, heating and normal and deep cooling. The thermal capability based calculus, is done with a new thermal analysis tool, the „devided device” method, perfectly integrated in a cycle thermal algorithm. The results show the physical conditions are fulfilled by all cases analysed. The absorbent subcooling and preheating deficit causes a cooling and heating effect double deficit, which reduces the heat exchange quality. Applying to certain cycles subcooling and preheating hysteresis loops, could improve the heat exchange quality.
