Summary

RESULTS ARE PRESENTED FOR A TEST STUDY OF SURFACE HEAT TRANSFER ON THE BOILING OF R11 AND R22 ON PLANE SURFACES WITH A CAPILLARY POROUS COVERING LAYER FILLED WITH SPHEROIDAL METAL PARTICLES GLUED ON THE ELECTRIC HEATING SURFACE. THE EFFECT ON SURFACE HEAT TRANSFER OF THE LARGER THICKNESS, THE DIAMETER AND THE MATERIAL OF PARTICLES WERE STUDIED. IT WAS ESTABLISHED THAT ON THE SURFACES STUDIED THE HEAT EXCHANGE IS 2.5 TO 3 TIMES HIGHER THAN ON SMOOTH SURFACES.
