Summary
The research purpose in this project is to develop "heat exchanger available for a natural heat source" which provides the heat source for a heat pump system, converting low temperature energy into high temperature energy. The demonstration test unit suitable for sea water consisted of high efficiency plate type heat exchanger fitted with clog-proofing and anti-fouling systems, and was verified at two sites. Development and results of the demonstration test are reported.
