THE AUTHORS PROPOSE A COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR THE SIMULATION OF A HEAT PUMP PLANT REQUIRED FOR DEFINING ENERGY SAVING AND ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY. THIS PROGRAM MADE IT POSSIBLE TO DESIGN THE PLANT AND THEIR CONTROL SYSTEMS IN ORDER TO OBTAIN MAXIMUM ENERGY AND COST SAVINGS, ALLOWING FOR THE DIFFERENT AVAILABLE HEAT SOURCES: HEAT FROM THE CONDENSERS OFTHE REFRIGERATION PLANT OF A SWIMMING POOL AND WASTE WATER.
